I adored this session with sweet little Jacqueline. She was so peaceful and content throughout the session. It was such a joy to be able to capture these newborn images for this beautiful new family.

I recently had the honor of photographing these beautiful 5 week old twins in the new studio in Durham. After several weeks in the NICU, these little guys were finally strong enough to come home. I absolutely love the connection that they clearly have to one another, and Mom is so radiant as she holds her little ones. She was so relaxed and serene with the twins. Breathtaking!
Throughout the years that I have been photographing newborns, family photos have always remained some of my favorite images to capture. I believe it is so important to remember that small fleeting moment where your little one is so small and delicate in your hands. Although mom and dad most always feel exhausted with birth of a new child, I really believe that these images will always be the photos cherished most by the family in the years to come.
